Murali Kumar is a dubbing artist in the southern Indian film industry.
He has lent his voice for supporting actors in the Tamil industry,
including Jackie Chan. He is a recipient of the Tamil Nadu State Film
Award by the Government of Tamil Nadu.Murali was born to a Tamil
family. He studied at MGR Film City at Taramani in Chennai. He made
his debut with the straight Tamil film Oomai Vizhigal (1986) lending
his voice to actor Arun Pandian. His major break was with Nattamai,
lending his voice to Ponnambalam's character. He won the Tamil Nadu
State Film Award for Best Male Dubbing Artist for Run. He has mostly
dubbed for Atul Kulkarni, Lal, and Ajay Rathnam. His major works
include Kuruthipunal, Manmadhan, Sandakozhi, and 7am Arivu. He has
given Tamil voices to English, Telugu and Hindi dubbed films,
including Jackie Chan, and to Johnny Depp for Pirates of the Caribbean
(franchise). He also dubbed cartoons, such as the series telecast by
Chutti TV, Jackie Chan Adventures, for Jackie Chan.He acted in a few
Tamil films, Senthoora Poove (credited as Muralidharan), Inaindha
Kaigal, Maanagara Kaaval, and many TV series, like Ganga Yamuna
Saraswati, Vizhuthugal, Alaigal, and currently he works on the Jaya TV
serial Gopurangal Saivathillai, where he plays the heroine's
